Thank you for considering the North Shore Community Centre for your event. The centre is a non-profit charitable society that is located in North Kamloops. The centre is considered the Heart of the North Shore and has played host to many events since it’s opening in 1997.
With many of our activities geared towards seniors, we are proud to now offer a wider range of services to businesses and the general public. The North Shore Community Centre is wheelchair accessible and all rooms are easily navigated.
ROOMS AVAILABLE FOR YOUR FUNCTION
Dogwood Room (2,495 sq ft)
• Newly renovated to reflect modern designs and colours
• A stage is located on the East side of the room
• The flooring is suitable for dancing
• There is a disco ball above the dance floor and wall sconces for a more intimate atmosphere
• A piano is available for use
• There is a sound system available
• Seats approximately 180 people in theatre formation
• Seats approximately 120 people for a banquet with long tables
• Seats approximately 100 people for a reception with round tables
Games Room (750 sq ft)
• Laminate flooring suitable for dancing
• A piano is available for use
• Seats approximately 40 people in theatre formation
• Seats approximately 20 people in boardroom formation
• Seats approximately 20-30 people for a reception with round tables
Willow Room (785 sq ft)
• Seats approximately 40 people in theatre formation
• Seats approximately 20 people in boardroom formation
• Seats approximately 20-30 people for a reception with round tables
Oak Room (1, 087 sq ft)
• A piano is available for use in this room
• A portion of the floor is hardwood, suitable for dancing
• Sits approximately 60-70 people in theatre formation
• Sits approximately 40-50 people for a reception with round tables
• Sits approximately 50 people for a banquet on long tables
• (It is possible to combine the Oak and Willow Rooms for a larger function –
combined size is 1,872 sq ft)
The award-winning gardens of the Cottonwood Complex, the Gazebo and the Maple Room (coffee room) are also available for use if arrangements are made in advance. Rental charges may apply.
